Would you like a cookie for that? We have all heard this term when we publicly feel accomplished around others. To them we say, He** Yes I do. Being treated for our accomplishments allows for a mind effect to take place where we yearn for more of that feeling. Rewarding ourselves in the simplest of manners is crucial to our mental well being and even more so powerful when we self reward in solitude.
Grow up, you don’t need that cookie. We might not need that cookie, but we want it. The more we want the more I’m willing to go through to get to that desire.
Mind trick – picture the outcome of the desire, for example it could be the body you’ve always wanted, in order for our mind to want to work at it everyday I might reward myself with something as simple as a hit of cannabis after a yoga session. It could be food, time to yourself, whatever is rewarding to you. Make sure to change it up.

We simply perform better in rewarding environments. Some prefer private rewards while others might prefer public rewards or a balance of both. Whatever the reward might be, be sure it’s after a session of something you desire. Don’t wait for anybody to reward you for your accomplishments as everybody else is too busy focusing on their own.
Mirrors are great for reflecting our desires -JayS
We often wait for someone to take notice of our doings. “Look! Look what I’ve done” I screamed, but everyone kept in motion. So I ask myself, who am I trying to impress? Not a matter of looking to impress, a matter of searching for a feeling of accomplishment. Stop searching, be your own accomplishment with self reward, look into the mirror and impress that person. Shhhh! keep the feeling between the person in the mirror and you.
