Depression is a medical clinical term we use to describe ourselves as feeling sad. There are many ways we can choose to tackle this symptom that’s unavoidable as a result of everyday life issues. By Transforming our negatives into positives, we can choose to be content by practicing mental balancing.
How do we walk across this rope that’s tied in between two mountain high rocks? Balance! It only feels stressful when we keep looking downwards and not ahead of ourselves. It’s the same thing when we choose to focus on what could go wrong instead of focusing on all things that could go right. The more we’re looking at the positives, negatives seem non-existent.
Don’t disregard the negatives, they’ll always be knocking at the door. Instead of trying to avoid them by pretending they’re not there, answer the door and attempt to transform the situation into a positive. This is where psychology takes more of a play into matters since it takes mental practice to attempt to understand and swindle the other side.

It’s truly powerful when we turn our negatives into positives and although it might sound mischievous, both sides can always win.

There are two sides to the coin, heads for depression, tails for happiness. Flip it! What has it landed on…? Flip it again! Did you get the result you wanted? Flip it… flip it again, or better yet, stop flipping the damn coin and stop letting outer circumstances define your mood. “Wanna flip the coin again?!” (Silence falls for a short while along with a cold stare….)… “No I think I’ll put it in my pocket.”
We choose to be content by balancing ourselves. Equipping ourselves with mental tricks to tackle real life situations is like a means of not letting others tip us over during a yoga session. Don’t let depression tip you over, it’s only a label to a temporary feeling.
