It’s not as easy as telling yourself look at the positive side, it’s much more of a puzzle piece to get into that mental state of mind depending on how you look at your current situation/situations. Do you feel like everything is always against you, as if there was a force in your way always making sure things don’t go right?… It’s us. We are our own roadblock in the way of becoming more confident, content and full filled with life. When focusing on the negative were only training our perspective, our outlook in life to catch all the negatives, ingesting them into our sub conscious mind, therefore; we think everything is against us. Maybe I’m going against myself?

Our mental state ultimately decides how we feel, how we perform, the tone voice we use, the way we look out into the world. What are the things that make your mental state calm and collective? for me it’s accomplishing personal goals, such as working at trying to find what I love to do. At the moment I work carpentry, sounds like hard labor, but I love to move around, build and sweat a bit, that’s just me. Perspective is different for every individual. This makes me feel more confident about myself as apposed to sitting down, thinking forever and never taking that first step. Work at your mental state, nobody can ever give it you because nobody else is you, we are all one of kind minds.
Know that nothing lasts forever. knowing this, we rid ourselves of latching our happiness with anything or anyone. I’m responsible for how I feel everyday. We also start appreciating every moment much more knowing it wont always be there. It may be sad, but imagine waking up with it gone, never to be seen again, just another distant memory of what used to be there in the past. It can be a situation, an object or a person. Let us love without attachment and we can find a more content mental state of mind.

Practice speaking to yourself more positively. As a train has one way to go, so can your thoughts be more focused and directed.

Make efforts towards what you think is a positive life, the life you want. We all want good things to come our way, sometimes we just forget that it takes more than just thinking about all the negative outcomes. Think about the positive outcomes and take your shot at whatever you aim for. Did you miss? Try again.
